I love this old raggedy black santa. He was from a booth at "Christmas Made In The South" in Jacksonville

Sandy gave me this Santa in the Stocking last year, she made it, he is from one of her Olde Country Cupboard line patterns.

This is a snowman from a SMF pattern, a lady made it and I purchaed him off ebay a couple years ago.

A Raggedy Santa I have had for probably 10 years or more. He sits in the Christmas Rocker I purchased from Tucker's FarmHouse booth at Market Days in Tallahassee a number of years ago. Miley's food dish is next to him so Miley's rear end is in the pic too.

marked down really cheap last year after Christmas at CVS in Starke while visiting Sandy. The hanging Santa is made by the same woman who made the really prim black santa.

Celena is flying to North Carolina in the morn to visit one of our dear friends, Melody. She will be there for a few days so I get to babysit my precious grand doggies, Lyra and Lysha. She brought them over today.

My tree in the living room is old as the hills, I have dragged it around to craft shows all those years. I stole the idea of the candles from Sandy last year and she stole the idea from some where she had seen them(heehee), used the candy cane painted candles, I cut rusty wire and wrapped them for hangers and put them on my tree. It also has a string of small brown cord silicone tip bulbs, this is all the decorations I want on it. Prim and Simple. I am proud to say that every single thing in my house and everything that I own, including my mini van, I worked for, bought and paid for myself over the past many years with no help from No "man". My antiques were all road side finds or bargains at unbelieveable prices, all my Christmas items were hand mades or things marked WAY down after Christmas from years passed and a few items were given to me as gifts.I have worked and earned everything I have. My marriage of 21 years gained me nothing but outrageous stress and I had to work my tail off to have anything for my child or for myself all those years with no help from her dad. I was so happy when I was finally able to walk out that door, start over and take everything with me that I had busted my behind for all those years. I am proud to have what I do, it is nothing fancy by no means but it is cozy and it is home I LOVE the house I live in and I am so happy to have my own place and thankful for all I have. Living room, I put short little legs on this old chicken coop I have had for years and made it into a coffee table.

Olde antique in my bedroom, I think I paid $35.00 for it at a yard sale several years ago, it was falling apart. I fixed the drawers on it but I like it the way it is, don't want it restored or anything. The people selling it had left it on a porch in the rain, etc. so it was weathered damaged. My friends Lynn, Jimmy and Amanda were with me and we were in their truck so they loaded that sucker up and off we went!

My Dad's old Deacon's bench now sits in my room, a black doll I made him years ago that sat on his couch for many years b/f he passed away. He and his wife Emily(who passed away in 2000)used this bench for their alter, they knelt and prayed at that bench for many years b/f his wife gave it to me over 15 years ago. Love you Daddy.

The guest bedroom has been mostly storage and copy machines but I cleaned it out and had to set this bed back up again for my Thanksgiving company. Soo, I am just going to leave it this way for now. Hopefully Sandy will visit again soon also and she will have her own room to stay in.

Living room, my replica Franklin stove fit perfectly under this fireplace mantle I made

years ago and used to use the mantle in my show displays. Now it stays right here! I love the stove,I use it just with this fake flame in it cause it looks soo real, can also use the heater in too if needed.

Jimmy and Bob had fun with my BB gun in the backyard, like a couple of little kids shooting at boxes and junk. Think they probably even shot at each other at some point. Bob is a retired Sherriff deputy so he probably misses being shot at...LOL.

Celena's dad (my ex) came over for the festivities too, he and Sophie played and sang, Jimmy played bass and sang with them also. Sophie played the Dulcimer, Ronnie was playing guitar. We enjoyed the jam session. They did a lot of gospel music. Was a good time.

Miley had enough of us all so he burried his head into the arm of the couch and went to sleep!
