My Greatest Loss

My dearest and Best Friend in the world , Sandy Schmidt, lost her battle to cancer about 40 minutes ago, 12:27 pm this afternoon. . I can not begin to say how I feel and the pain. She passed away @ Hospice House in Gainesville, Florida with her loving family around her. Oh dear God.. WHY??? She was the strongest person I ever knew.. just like her mother. A woman of great strength and courage. A beautiful wonderful person like no other. A heart of solid gold and a soul to match it. I miss you more than I could ever find words to say. My best friend in the world for almost 20 years, I cherish every second of it Sandy. I love you so much. Always and Forever you are in my heart and soul. Plz keep her family in prayer.

  3. Carmen, I am so very sorry for your loss. While I didn't know Sandy personally and mostly only through her blog & Face Book, she seemed like such a lovely woman, both inside and out. Someone I would have loved to meet in person.
My heart just breaks that she didn't get to spend more time with her new little grand baby, but I'm glad she did get to hold her for the short time she had left after her birth.
Sending healing prayers to you and many hugs.

  4. Carmen, I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. She was a talented, generous crafter. The love and pride she felt for her daughter was evident in her blog posts. So was her love for you. I will pray for her family and you as you all deal with this loss.
